Open Floor

Embodied Movement

for mental health, somatic, and bodywork professionals

A supportive space for those who support

When our work is supporting others, it can be easy to overlook supporting ourselves...

Resource Yourself is a weekly Open Floor movement practice group for mental health, somatic, and bodywork professionals who’s work is to support others..

This Tuesday morning class is an hour for you. An hour to drop into a wordless, timeless connection with yourself. To resource your nervous system. To notice, stay present and move - in whatever way your body can and wants to..

Come for the joy of moving your body and go into your day more in tune with yourself and more attuned to the world around you.

Open Floor is a resource-based dance practice. This class is a blend of guided and free form movement exploration, supported by a soundscape. There are no steps to learn and nothing to get right.

Open Floor is an inclusive practice for all bodies - we welcome all levels of fitness, ability, stamina, size, and age. Chairs are placed on the dance floor for those who need more than two legs.

Hello, I’m Audrey

I’ve been teaching Open Floor since 2015, with a focus on supporting therapists and therapists-in-training to cultivate awareness through the moving body.

As a lifelong learner, I continue to expand the quality of the support I offer to therapists and therapists in training. I completed the Certificate in Humanistic Counselling Skills at the Gestalt Centre in 2024 and am currently enrolled in a 2 year Gestalt Diploma in Counselling. My studies give me a unique therapeutic insight into how to prvide supportive spaces for those who support.

“The one hour in my week where I am present for myself rather than my clients. Audrey's guidance allows me follow my body, a welcome moment of true nourishment, filling me up so I can continue to be of service” Sophie
