A supportive space for those who support

When our work is supporting others, it can be easy to overlook supporting ourselves...

Resource Yourself is a weekly Open Floor movement practice group for anyone whose work is supporting others in any field: therapy, healthcare, somatic practices, bodywork, coaching, activism, caring, communities and education…

This Tuesday morning class is an hour for you. An hour to drop into a wordless, timeless connection with yourself. To resource your nervous system. To notice, stay present and move - in whatever way your body can and wants to..

Come for the joy of moving your body and go into your day more in tune with yourself and more attuned to the world around you.

Our movement practice space is a gorgeous wooden room with a wall of windows that give onto a park. Moving with outside inside throughout the year is a real pleasure.

COST

GENEROSITY RATE - £25 If you have enough to be generous this makes it possible to offer sponsored rates to those who have less.

FAIR PRICE RATE - £20 What I need to make a living.

SPONSORED RATE - £5 If you are struggling financially, support others for free or low cost, work as a volunteer.

This is an ongoing group which runs term time with breaks in April, August and December. Classes are paid for as a block at the beginning of each term (or pro-rata from when you join). There are usually between 10 and 12 classes in a term. See the events calendar for dates.

You are welcome to join at any time following a trial class. To book and more information, please get in touch.

Open Floor is a resource-based dance practice. This class is a blend of guided and free form movement exploration, supported by a soundscape. There are no steps to learn and nothing to get right.

Open Floor is an inclusive practice for all bodies - we welcome all levels of fitness, ability, stamina, size, and age. Chairs are placed on the dance floor for those who need more than two legs.
